1. Data controller

2. Data processed and purposes

The site is static in nature and does not collect personal data through forms, registrations or user accounts.

The hosting infrastructure (Vercel Inc.) may automatically log technical navigation data, in particular IP address, browser user agent, requested pages and timestamp, for security, diagnostics and abuse-prevention purposes.

Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (art. 6.1.f GDPR) in protecting and correctly operating the site.

Retention: technical logs are kept according to the hosting infrastructure's policies. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for details.

3. Cookies

The site sets no first-party cookies of any kind, neither profiling nor analytics.

Video content is loaded via a "click to load" mechanism: no third-party cookie is set until the user explicitly interacts with the video player. Starting playback constitutes explicit consent to loading YouTube content and the related cookies, under Google's policies (see section 4).

3.1. Aggregate analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a traffic-statistics service that does not use cookies and does not track users across sites. The data collected (pages visited, country, device type, referrer) is aggregated and anonymous: the IP address is processed only server-side via a one-way hash and is never stored in clear text. The purpose is purely statistical.

4. Third-party content

Some pages may embed third-party content. In particular:

YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) — videos and thumbnails. Playback triggers the loading of Google components that may set cookies and collect navigation data. More info in Google's Privacy Policy.

Interaction with third-party content is governed by their respective privacy policies, over which the owner of this site has no control.

5. Links to external sites

The site contains links to external platforms (Discord, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the sub-site appunti.alessandrosimonitto.it). These platforms operate independently and are subject to their own privacy policies.

6. Data subject rights

Under articles 15-22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to:

access your personal data
request its rectification or erasure
obtain restriction of processing
object to processing
lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Italian Data Protection Authority, www.garanteprivacy.it)
